343 Industries and Creative Assembly have released the launch trailer of the expansion Awakening the Nightmare that summarizes new features in the new DLC now available for download. The new expansion introduces a new campaign, which is chronologically after few months from the end of the events in Halo Wars 2 , which sees us in the shoes of Exiles in their fight for survival against the Flood .

As regards Fund multiplayer adds two new maps and two new leaders to use in multiplayer and traditional Blitz and finally a new mode of Tower Defense , called Shootout Terminus that allows three players to defend a base against waves of Exiles , UNSC and Unit Flood , including new units Boss .

The expansion Awakening the Nightmare is not included in the Season Pass and can be purchased at the price of 24.99 Euros in Games Store ; is included in Halo Wars 2: Complete edition .
