LTdM the shadow of war introduces a market for followers and upgrades with microtransactions

Monolith announced today a new feature we find in Middle-Earth: the shadow of war to the game's release, scheduled for October 10: the Market . This is an in-game shop where we can buy new followers and upgrades to speed up our progress in the game, either through an in-game currency, Mirian, either through the gold purchased with real currency.

These are the elements that we will be able to buy from the market:

  • Crates Loot -contain equipment (arms and armor) of varying rarity that allow Talion to improve its performance in battle.
  • War Chests --contain followers variable that will add to our rare Orcish army. May also contain exercises to enhance and customize our training followers.
  • XP Enhancements -allow Talion to climb faster.
  • Bundles -are packages that are clustered together, offering a discount on the total price, several of the factors mentioned so far.

Developers stress that none of the content of the game will be obligatorily chargeable and which all followers, equipment and so on will you earn by playing or getting the Mirian through the defeat of Orcs, the "dismantling" of Orcs and equipment or finding appropriate Mirian reserves scattered throughout the game world. The most impatient, though, will be able to buy gold from the to speed their progress.
