After the announcement of tonight , Square Enix has now released a set of images and some additional information on Life is Strange: Before the Storm , new series prequel of the highly acclaimed adventure of Dontnod Entertainment. The editor confirms that the game will come in the form of three episodes, with the first scheduled for 31 August and the other two to follow, explaining that this development is entrusted to Deck Nine Games while Dontnod is engaged on the real sequel of the first adventure.

Square also explains that Life is Strange: Before the Storm is set to Arcadia Bay three years before the events of the first game of the series; Here we will have to play the role of a rebellious 16-year-old Chloe and on days when he became friends with the popular and beautiful Rachel Amber. When Rachel finds out a secret about her family that threatens to destroy her world, this new friendship gives both the strength to carry on and to defeat his own demons.
