2 k today announced that the Cleveland Cavaliers point guard, Kyrie Irving , will be the cover athlete for NBA 2K18 , to be released on 15 September. Irving is selected from the American home in the greatest moment of his career and after yet another presence at NBA Finals which earned him the nickname "Ankletaker".

Kyrie's career also includes an award for "Rookie of the Year" in 2012, NBA All-Star Game MVP in
2014 and 2016 NBA ring. The title of last year represented the most incredible comeback in the
history of the NBA Finals, averaging 27.1 points per game, which made the undisputed choice Kyrie
