Remedy: Alan Wake will no longer be available digitally since 15 may

If you were planning to buy Alan Wake sooner or later, maybe to play it on Xbox One in backwards compatibility, there remains little time to do it. Remedy Entertainment has announced in a tweet that the game will be removed from the Microsoft store, as well as from Steam, on 15 May.

The reason given is the expiration of licenses related to the soundtrack of the game, so the firm can no longer sell the game. In a following tweet the study explained that the intention is to renew the licenses to be able to put the game on the store, but no one knows when this will happen.

Removing only applies to new purchases: If you had already the game digitally, you will continue to find it available for download in your list of games purchased, both on the Xbox 360 that Xbox One.
