Phil Spencer: Project Scorpio will be revealed at E3, we're proud of the games coming soon

In a post on Xbox Wire in which summarizes the announcements of the last few days, the head of Xbox in Microsoft Phil Spencer announced that Project Scorpio will be revealed directly at E3: this puts an end to rumor they wanted a dedicated event before the fair la-based and tells us that a part of the E3 Conference will be devoted to the appearance and other characteristics of the console.

The Conference Xbox, which as already announced will be held on 11 June at 23:00 , will obviously also an opportunity to see numerous titles run on powerful new console, which recently published specifications confirm to be the most powerful ever and the only capable of handling all games in 4 k and without loss of performance.

And just about the games, Spencer says he is proud of the line-up of titles arriving throughout the year and that will be shown at the event: " we know that you hold particularly to great games that are exclusive, multiplatform, independent or AAA. We are proud of the varied line-up of outgoing server games this year, which will be playable only on Xbox One and improves on Project Scorpio. "

The last sentence, which may seem self-contradiction, actually confirms what has already been announced at the last E3, that Project Scorpio is an Xbox One: much more powerful, but still a member of the "Xbox One family", along with the first Xbox and Xbox One S.

There only remains to wait for the night of 11 June to find out what surprises us the House of Redmond! Obviously we will be here and in Los Angeles to tell you everything. Stay tuned!
