Nomura: Final Fantasy VII Remake will combat action, not turn-based

During the event Magic 17, Tetsuya Nomura released statements on Final Fantasy VII Remake that had left doubts to fans of the series and in particular on the combat system. In the latest issue of Famitsu Weekly magazine, the producer has now granted an interview in which he wanted to clarify these aspects.

Nomura is keen to point out that Final Fantasy VII Remake will rely on a system where the battles will have a turn-based system with orders to be given but will be much action. Also the game will have a roofing system that can be exploited in particular places in the map, but it will not be mandatory to use it. The combat system will purchase then a decidedly different from previous titles.

Finally Nomura talks about the battle with the Scorpion Guard, the first boss of the game, stating that the enemy will have a large number of attacks that are not in the original title thus creating spectacular confrontation.

The official date of Final Fantasy VII Remake remains unknown: expect news about.
