The Coalition announced that over the weekend a playlist called " Social " will test the cross-play competitive with PC players of Gears of War 4: this means that players on Xbox One will challenge those 10 on Windows PC and vice versa. Two platform servers will be merged and you will be able to challenge other players in Deathmatch , King of the Hill and Dodgeball , with all available maps.

According to the developers the evidence will be used to understand the player feedback and evaluate a possible permanent cross-play, to be able to extend in the future also appearances in Versus mode and in private match.
