Xbox One marks the fourth month in a row as best selling console in USA

The head of marketing for Xbox titles Aaron Greenberg has tweeted last night that, according to newly released data from NPD, Xbox One was the top-selling console in the US also in October: This marks the fourth month in a row that Americans prefer the Microsoft console, which joins the already excellent results in UK and Australia. In short, it seems that English-speaking Xbox One is very welcome.

It is also a record for the console, which has never managed to win for more than one or two consecutive months against the dominance of Sony: the excellent result is due to the effective policy implemented by Microsoft in the last 12 months, begun with the backwards compatibility and important updates to the OS and culminated with the launch of Xbox One S the hardware revision 4 k functionality for video and slimmer (although the only on the market with a Blu-ray player UltraHD) who seems to have cornered the market.

Of course part of this success is due in part to competition: with the announcement of PS4 Pro, Sony has led many to wait for the release of the new console, which resulted in a decrease in demand for the current model. The new console was released yesterday and this will definitely a boom in sales, so it's quite unlikely that you can order Xbox One to score a fifth month of domination in the market in November. But that we'll find out in a month!
