Mafia III: 2 k shows us the post-launch content plan

2 k Games has taken advantage of PAX East in Seattle to announce the plan of content post-launch planned for Mafia III . Developers explain that to uphold the interest of the players in the game even after launch, will be released in time for both free and paid content (sold both separately and as part of Season Pass).

The free content will be released in an applicant in the months following the release of the game, and will be of the following types:

  • New costumes -Arrive new outfits for the protagonist Lincoln Clay, which will allow us to customize it in appearance
  • New weapons -in 30 days since the game's launch will come the arms package "judge, jury and executioner"
  • New customizations for vehicles -arrive new upgrades performance and aesthetic customizations in addition to those present at the launch of the game as new rims, custom license plates and paint jobs.
  • Races -will be introduced helpful competitions to earn money, new customizations and other prizes.

These are just examples, the developers explain arriving as well as other types of free content.

As for the expansions to payment, these we will propose a series of stories once again focused on Lincoln Clay but telling us about other moments in his life besides his revenge on the Italian mafia. Are as follows:

  • Faster, Baby! - Lincoln meets his old flamma Roxy Laveau, who convinces him to confront a corrupt Sheriff that terrorises civil rights activists in the suburbs of New Bordeaux. This will create a thrilling story based on wild rides aboard fast car.
  • Sign of the times -New Bordeaux becomes the scene of a series of ritual killings and father James asks Lincoln to get on the trail of the cult responsible for such crimes. Will not be a simple task, and will take us into the blackest heart of the bayou.
  • Roads Brought ( Stones Unturned )-Lincoln will face his old rival and ruthless, and will have to join forces with CIA agent John Donovan to put an end to a war that began in the jungles of Viet Nam.

The surcharge will also add new activities, vehicles, weapons, clothes and events.
