The Chinese Room and curves Digital today announced that the exploratory adventure Dear Esther: Landmark Edition will be released on Xbox One on 20 September at the price of 9.99 €, after having already been released on PC in 2012. The console version will also offer a new Director's Cut commentary of the game creators Jessica Curry, Dan Pinchbeck and Rob Briscoe.

This new version also profiting by "tweaks" in the aspect of the game to suit the tastes of the audience console.

In Dear Esther you impersonate a tormented man who must explore a remote island in the Hebrides of Scotland with the aim to reconstruct the chain of events that led to the death of his wife.
