Through an ad in the official forum of the game CD Project RED Marcin Momot lets us know that waiting for GOTY Edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will not import saved games from the original version, and then players must necessarily start a new game.

Always Shivu explains: "being two different versions (GOTY and standard equipment) are handled by the console as different products, in fact the GOTY will have a separate trophy list". For those who will play for the first time to the adventures in The Witcher this won't be a problem, unlike those who already could play the title basis will have to start a new game.

Please note that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Game Of The Year Edition will arrive on August 30 the PS4 Xbox One.
