Three Fields Entertainment  (Dangerous Golf) announced with a tweet posted directly from the company founder Alex Ward, former co-founder of Criterion Games (Burnout), which the firm began working on a new racing game that had previously defined as being "extremely fast" , explaining that he would see the return of Ted Stryker, Burnout 3: Takedown commentator.

This statement refers to what is already stated last October in the past by the studio, which in a tweet he stated that one of his future projects would be just a racing game, declaring also that it would be the spiritual successor to another title with such speed, traffic and accidents, adding the tag #ShinyRedSomething that invokes the original codename for Burnout , "Shiny Red Car".

It therefore appears that the Burnout series lovers can expect in the future a new title faithful to the origins of the series, although the end result is not obvious since with Dangerous Golf things didn't go exactly as planned.
