During a live session on Twitch, the German Community Manager in the Battlefield, Sebastian Moritz, answered questions from fans by revealing that the Beta of Battlefield 1 will begin shortly after Gamescom, scheduled from 17 to 21 August in Cologne.

Moritz also revealed that the beta will be the Rush mode and that "those who have joined the initiative Battlefield Insider will be able to access the Beta three days earlier than everyone else."
