According to reports from the French site Gameblog.fr, Injustice 2 , sequel of the fighting by NetherRealm Studios, " will be announced over the next few days, perhaps even before E3 2016 ". Also the games site is reporting that the new title is in development by NetherRealm Studios and, based on the Mortal Kombat X graphics engine (Unreal Engine 3), will be released on during the month of August of 2017.

The original game, Injustice: Gods Among Us , was released on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii and PC U in April 2013. In some of the most iconic heroes fighting collide in the DC Universe, including Batman, Flash, Green Arrow, Joker, Superman, Wonder Woman and more.

There are currently no further details: we await confirmation/denial by Warner Bros./NetherRealm Studios.
