Ubisoft: The Division will allow us to change graphic settings to improve performance

Apparently the console version of The Division will allow us to change the lighting settings by disabling certain effects to improve the frame rate of the game: a something similar to what already happens in PC World and that probably represents a record in the console world.

Did we learn directly from a developer Ubisoft, who said: "it is possible to disable certain aspects of lighting to improve the frame rate in the console versions. I don't know any other game that would allow such a thing. So, if you prefer the frame rate to the graphics, it is possible to intervene, if desired ".

The developer has continued by stating: " one good thing about The Division is that we have always considered the PC a separate platform. We have to keep it under control than the console, it would be unfair to create a gap too obvious "

Some of the graphics settings that we could go to amend will cover the abberrazione colours and contrast adjustments. The first is nothing but a sort of Visual filter that mimics the behavior of a real camera lens, taking points to high contrast screen and dividing them into their constituent parts red, green and blue. The second one will impact directly on the game antialiasing filters.

We leave you with a video of Digital Foundry which makes a better idea. Good vision!
