More info on Mad Max: history, research resources, variety of scenaries

After the interesting info on Mad Max that we reported yesterday , we return today to offer you more information on Avalanche, once again taken from Game Informer: this time we learn something more about resource lookup, history, and more.

About the story we discover that our main enemy in the game will be/Scrotus/various, the Lord of the desert lands; his gang attack Max at the beginning of the game, to steal the famous auto Interceptor and which however he left to die in the wilderness. In our struggle to be able to identify her/Scrotus/various fortresses in the wilderness and catch them making out all occupants in a way very similar to what has already been seen with outposts of Far Cry; doing this will reduce the influence of the evil in the area and allow groups of survivors find refuge in fortresses conquer her. The fortresses will also have an additional purpose: we can improve them to automatically collect resources, food and water while we are engaged in our adventures, we can also add an Armory and exploration teams they will find points of interest around and will mark them on the map for us. In the desert you will find also details totem-scarecrow symbolizing the power of/Scrotus/various: destroy them will be another way to reduce his influence on the game world.

Other information interesting is that at the beginning of the game run us into a dog similar to the Australian Shepherd Dog who accompanied Max during the second film; This we will be using his nose to find water and other supplies. Another way to find provisions will be to use the "observation points", hot-air balloon attached to the ground with ropes: we can use them to free ourselves up and hence use the binoculars to locate and mark on the map resources, important, location/Scrotus/various totem and enemy convoys. Some of these balloons will be unlocked before they can be used, for example, liberating them from the chains that are blocking or trying the fuel needed to ignite their flame. Once unlocked, they can be found as/in addition to our point of respawn if death: well then have always found someone in the vicinity of the areas where we are going to carry out the most dangerous missions.

In the game we can find cars belonging to other survivors: you can use them in place of the Magnum Opus, our main car, but we may at any time invoke the Magnum simply launching a rocket unit to make it deliver from Chum, our adventure Companion. And for those who are worried that the scenario will be the long desert too repetitive, developers guarantee that there will be a great visual variety: huge cliffs, a seabed water now-free and rich in coral and caves, old subway tunnels, bridges collapsed and stretches of highway.

For now the information stop there: we hope to soon be able to say more about this interesting open-world title.
