Rumor: Microsoft will produce in 2015 a virtual gaming headset, announcement at E3

Taiwanese site Digitimes, dedicated to the electronics manufacturing industry and that thanks to their contacts has often revealed the arrival of new consoles and accessories, claims to have learned from its own sources that Microsoft will start in 2015 the mass production of a headset for the "virtual gaming", which will be announced with great pomp at the next E3.

It is unknown for now what it is: not stated specifically that it is a viewer for virtual reality, then it could also be something else such as augmented reality project rumoreggiato Fortaleza , which should allow the underlying game images to the surrounding reality, transforming our lounges and rooms in real game arenas.

The first rumor on this technology date back to 2012 , when you thought would make the new Xbox; so it was, but then in March, Microsoft has done plenty of patents related to augmented reality and it also seems that already has a studio at work on titles tailored for the new technology.

Then, if the rumor is confirmed, it will be a competitor to simple Oculus Rift and Morpheus, or something else, more related to augmented reality that a virtual directory? And if it is true that mass production will begin as early as 2015, this means that the device will be available to players from the end of next year?

We look forward to more information: of course we you all with our usual timely fashion.
