A few months ago the Xbox Division's boss, Phil Spencer, had revealed that the ability to capture and share images of games on Xbox One was one of the features that Microsoft engineers were working. Spencer said today that one of the reasons why we have not yet seen this feature lies in the fact that it is "a bit more challenging than expected" and that this feature will be released in 2015.

"Two weeks ago our engineers thought they had found a good solution for screenshots, but there is still work to do. We are aware that this feature is very much in demand from our users and the release of this feature will be one of our priorities , "says Spencer.  "With the arrival of the new year we will implement new things, and screenshots are on the list" .

Spencer has also explained that the December update Xbox One will be much more "lightweight" compared to previous: this is because you want to create less inconvenience or possible changes to all those users who purchase the console under Christmas, between November and December, and also to pull out of breath at the team ahead of the big news of 2015.
