Crytek UK closes its doors, Homefront: The Revolution passes at Deep Silver

A little more than two weeks ago they breathed a certain malaise around the possible future of Homefront: The Revolution with the bad financial situation of Crytek , and today we find out that the rumors were true: Crytek has closed the studio Crytek UK (together with that of Austin), responsible for the development of the new next-gen game.

The future of the title doesn't seem to be in danger: Koch Media has announced that acer acquired the Homefront IP and you have created a new British study within your Deep Silver label. The Dambuster Studio , this is the name of the new software house, is made up largely by developers Crytek UK including project leader Homefront: The Revolution , Hasit Zala.

The Koch Media CEO Klemens Kundratitz, wanted so to comment on the recent acquisition of the project related to Homefront: The Revolution : " we strongly believe in the potential of Homefront: The Revolution and we have great confidence in our team to continue the path that we have undertaken in recent years ."

It seems then that there will be full continuity in the development of the game, now free from financial problems of Crytek., and that the game will see the light as planned.
