Following the release of the NPD sales data, Microsoft announced that Xbox One has reached 5 million consoles sold worldwide: Although back compared to the competition, the House of Redmond says that it's an excellent result, exceeding the 60% the results made by Xbox 360 at the same point in its life cycle. While not dominating the console market is so very good health, but there is room for further improvement: now appears evident that, in the eyes of the general public (and not the hardcore gamers, who are a minority and have other priorities), the handicap of the console is the price higher than the competition.
