Karen Traviss announced on his personal blog that the release of Gears of War novel, "Coalition's End," which will be the prologue to the events of the third chapter in the saga has been postponed to August 2011. The novel was originally scheduled for March in order to create a bridge to Gears of War 3 in output in April, but after the postponement of the game there had been no further news. According to some rumors, because the book was due one month before the third series title, Gears of War 3 would therefore be expected for the month of September. An official date will be given probably by the end of the beta or at E3 2011.
